About our Logo…………………………………………………………………………………………….“For the Oil of the Spirit”
In 1963 a small silver lamina (a thin plate) was found in the Judean Desert near Jerusalem, dating back to the first Century. An archaeologist
named Emanuel Testa deciphered the Aramaic text of this artifact, the first line of which reads: “For the Oil of the Spirit.”

The Fish symbol has long been used by Christians. The Greek word for 'fish' (IXOYE) are the first initials of the phrase 'Jesus Christ God's Son, Savior'.
During the persecution, Christians would use the fish symbol to let others know they were believers.

It is thought that this is one of the first symbols used by the early Church.

Taking the Mystery out of God’s Word.

Dedicated to doing competent hermeneutical research as we study the Biblical text and bring to light the deep truths contained therein.

"In these days, truth is so obscure, that unless you love the truth, you can not know it.”   Pascal.

The Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to this world.  It is a lamp to guide us in our lives and a light that
pierces our hearts and minds.

In the pages of the Biblical text, we discover the deep mysteries of God.

You can study it with the wisdom of man, yet you can’t understand it without the illumination of the Holy
Spirit.

It is the sword of the Spirit.

It is our sole source of faith and practice.

It was written through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

It reveals absolute truth for every generation.

It is the door to faith – for “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

The vision of bibliology.org is to bring the Church back to truth – back to simply proclaiming and living
the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free”.
